Guantánamo

Established in 2002 during the War on Terror led by President George W. Bush’s administration, the Guantánamo Bay detention camp, with a number of separate detention areas, is a United States military prison located within Guantánamo Bay Naval Base. This 45 acre site on the coast of Guantánamo Bay in Cuba is also referred to as Guantánamo, GTMO, and “Gitmo”. While the figure is only an estimate, the costs to keep the Guantánamo military court and prison operating since 2002 has cost nearly six billion dollars, with current annual spending around $380 million. These totals do not include the millions spent annually to operate Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, pay the salaries of required military personnel, cover costs for legal teams and the chartered flights used to bring individuals to Guantánamo.
Strong bipartisan opposition from the United States Congress in the form of laws passed to prohibit detainees from Guantánamo being imprisoned in the United States blocked President Barack Obama’s efforts to close Guantánamo. The best he could do was to reduce the number of inmates from 245 to 41. This action was accomplished through inmate transfers to other countries.
When he came into office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to keep the Guantánamo Bay detention camp open indefinitely.
Then in May 2018, the Guantánamo prisoner Ahmed Muhammed Haza al-Darbi, who pled guilty in military court to criminal charges, received a thirteen year sentence which he is currently serving in Saudi Arabia where he was transferred by the Pentagon as part of a plea deal. A total of 40 inmates remain at Guantanamo Bay today, indefinite detainees known as the ‘forever prisoners’.—
Within and without the Guantánamo Bay detention camp there are a number of separate detention areas which house different classifications of inmates.
For a four year period, from 2003 to 2006, the CIA operated a small site, informally called ‘Penny Lane’, where prisoners being recruited as spies against Al-Qaeda were housed. This camp contained eight units, with private kitchens, showers, televisions and beds with mattresses. (source)
There is Camp Seven (Camp Platinum), the most secure camp known within the facility. Kept secret for its first two years, Camp Seven was constructed to hold the CIA’s fourteen “high-value detainees” who were transferred to military custody on September 6, 2006. These inmates are hooded when being transferred from locations within the camp, thus maintaining separation and isolation of detainees. In 2013, a budget request for new prison construction at the Guantánamo Bay detention camp was presumed a replacement of Camp 7 but did not happen.
Then in March 2018, the Trump administration made public that over $200 million in new construction was scheduled for Guantanamo in 2018 and 2019, combining projects both new and old.
Stories about the black ops site ‘Camp No’ surfaced in January 2010 when Harper’s Magazine published an article from Scott Horton. Said to be located approximately one mile outside the perimeter of the Guantánamo Bay detention camp,
the site included an interrogation center where extreme interrogation techniques and torture were conducted. (source)
Additional funding and projects at the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base and the Guantánamo Bay detention camp are listed in this article from Stars and Stripes. The decaying infrastructure of the facilities for both soldiers and detainees has reached a critical point, and an investment of both time and money will be required to keep everything operating.
Public Prison of Preference
The promise of highly placed individuals being accused of certain actions, arrested and then taken to the Guantánamo Bay Detention Center kicked into high gear along with the 2016 presidential campaign. Even then-candidate Donald Trump told The Miami Herald during an August 2016 interview that he would be “fine” trying United States citizens suspected of terrorism at military commisions. In fact, that course of action is not actually available since under federal law, it is illegal to try US citizens at military commissions, and changing the federal law would require an act of Congress. Since President Trump took office, the stories and videos have only increased claiming the disappearance or demise of various individuals, all with a destination of detainment cited to be the Guantánamo Bay Detention Center. While these stories are repeatedly called false and investigated with no truth discovered, the rumors continue.
The list of individual names also continues to grow, with the Guantánamo Bay Detention Center the final destination for their crimes including child trafficking, pedophilia, money laundering, sex trafficking and treason. These American citizens will not be trialed by a military tribunal nor see the accommodations offered by the Guantánamo Bay Detention Center as their final residence.
The ‘Dark Outpost’ podcast channel and the ‘Truth Unsealed’ channel on YouTube are sources from creator David Zublick. He has long discussed the deaths and arrests which have happened or are forthcoming for Elites named on the list.
“US President George HW Bush did not die of old age but was executed. So, too, was US Senator John McCain. US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, died in 2016. Welcome to the alternative facts about American politics as presented by…” Chris Stokel Walker
The YouTube channel of Dave Hodges along with others have also discussed the deaths and arrests which have happened or are forthcoming for the Elites in politics, those in Hollywood and those with deviant lifestyles, mentioning names on the talked about list.
The facts have failed so far to match up with the different reports, and the various Elites already named publicly still go about their business unhindered.
Additional Guantánamo Bay Facts
Even Guantánamo Bay Naval Base operations have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The continued shifting of the start date for the 9/11 trial is again delayed, initially until August 2021 but who can say if it will not be delayed further.
The Guantánamo Bay Naval Base is legally leased by the Cuban government to the American navy, and the location is recognized by both governments to be sovereign Cuban territory. The “Agreement Between the United States and Cuba for the Lease of Lands for Coaling and Naval stations”, was signed by the President of Cuba and the President of the United States on 23 February 1903. The post-1959 Cuban government has repudiated the agreement on the grounds that it was forced upon them by the United States and therefore was a not valid legal agreement. (source)
Even though the most northern part of Cuba is only about 90 miles from Florida, United State planes are not allowed to fly over Cuba. The planes have to fly around the eastern edge of the Cuban shoreline until they get to the south-southeastern part of the Cuba, where the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base is situated. The Guantánamo Bay Naval Base runway is perpendicular to Cuban airspace, so approaching aircraft are required to negotiate a last-minute, ninety degree right turn, a sharp ‘twist’ in the air, to line up for the landing.
