An “active shooter” has been reported at a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, police said.

ALERT: Active Shooter at the King Soopers on Table Mesa. AVOID THE AREA. PIO is en-route.

Officers were called to the King Soopers at 3600 Table Mesa Drive after a man reportedly fired shots in the area. The man then fired shots at officers, according to several reports.

People are asked to avoid the area.
