Now onto the navigation problem.
NORTH
Polaris is commonly called the North Star or Pole Star. The position of the star lies less than 1° away from the north celestial pole, making it the current northern pole star. The stable position of the star in the Northern Sky makes it useful for navigation. This star represents a ‘Point’.
SOUTH
The Southern Cross not only spins around the southern sky once a year, it also does a complete circle each 24 hours. Actually it makes the complete circle in 23 hours 56 minutes and 4 seconds or one sidereal day.
At 35 degrees south latitude,the 35th parallel, and all latitudes farther south, you can see the Southern Cross at any hour of the night all year around. The Southern Cross is circumpolar to the southern hemisphere and always appears in the southern sky for most observers. Depending on the time of the year (or night), the asterism may appear higher or lower above the horizon or be upside down.

So what is going on?
Unlike the Northern Pole Star which acts like a point, the Southern Cross transcribes a circle. It is acting like a pencil and compass. As you rotate the compass with your thumb and finger a small rotation is made but depending upon the angle that the compass is set to you will draw a larger circle on a piece of paper, or in this case on the flat earth.
So the Southern Cross will lead you ‘around in circles’
Now I wonder what angle that compass is actually set to? Some immediate candidates come to mind, such as the angle that the freemasonic compass is set to on their logo, the angle of slope on the Pyramid of Giza and then there is the famous 33 degrees.
I just looked at your link and find that it directly disproves the flat earth. The Earth is still. It does not move. The surface of Earth is flat. There is a dome over us called the Firmament. The sun, moon, and stars are under the Firmament dome. It’s amazing that after over 2300 years since the Greek sailors realized they needed to use the southern cross to navigate south of the equator, that there are people existing today that are still ignorant and think that the earth is flat and not a globe. Yes, I have that proof. When the Greeks were sailing the oceans over 2300 years ago. they used the north star to navigate. When the north star was behind them they were facing south. Once they got so far south they were unable to see the north star anymore so the started using the southern cross (which was in front of them) to continue to navigate. If the earth is flat, please explain how the southern stars revolve around the so called ice wall. Greek sailors over 2300 years ago used the north star to navigate. They used the big dipper to locate the north star, and since it is always in the north, it was a reliable point of reference that they could use to maintain their direction of travel. When they decided to travel south of the equator, they lost sight of the north star and found they could use the southern cross to navigate since it is always in the south. That’s when they realized the earth was not flat since the southern cross (like the big dipper in the north) does not move east to west and is always in the south. If the southern cross is south of Africa (and does not move) how can the southern cross also be on the other side of the flat earth south of Australia? On a flat earth the southern cross would have to move 15 degrees every hour moving east to west in order to travel around the ice wall in one day to complete its journey around the 360 degrees required to be back in the same location the next day. But the southern cross does not move east to west and is always south. This alone make the flat earth impossible.

I admit been without answer to this one, since the Southern Cross is static in its celestial positioning as opposed to circumnavigate 360 degrees each 24 hours period as I supposed it should be with the rest of the firmament which is visible from the Northern Hemisphere at circling clockwise around the static North Star.
