WOOX Chassis Offer Advanced Performance Over Solid Wood

Smithfield, UT: Wooden rifle stocks may be beautiful, but they are plagued by a whole litany of issues that don’t just complicate maintenance, and can also compromise performance in a material fashion.

For instance, solid wooden rifle stocks require a lot more care and maintenance to keep them clean and dry, and must be stored properly, or else they are prone not just to surface finish damage, but to wet and dry rot and other issues.

Worse yet, wooden gun stocks can swell and warp in response to high atmospheric humidity, which can put stresses on the barrel and action, throwing off your point of aim and messing with your zero. This inconsistency with wooden stocks has been a thorn in the side of precision rifle shooters forever at this point.

But there is now a better option: a WOOX chassis, which is a hybrid gun stock that pairs the incomparable beauty of real, natural hardwoods with the consistency, strength, low-maintenance requirements and overall performance of anodized aluminum.

Made with real, premium hardwoods like walnut or tiger wood, these rifle and shotgun stocks deliver uncommon aesthetics, but the skeleton of these stocks is anodized aluminum that requires minimal maintenance and which is much more durable and consistent than wood.

Notably, aluminum rifle chassis (like fiberglass and other synthetic gun stocks) will not absorb moisture from the environment, and as a result, your point of aim and zero will not shift if you outfit a rifle with a WOOX stock. That can’t be said of solid hardwood gun stocks.

Not only that, but anodized aluminum is very hard, very wear-resistant, and very corrosion-resistant. These stocks will require very little maintenance and attention compared to hardwood stocks.

On top of this, select WOOX chassis are compatible with some of the most popular rifles and shotguns in the industry, including but not limited to the Ruger 10/22, Remington 700 and clones, Tikka T3, and Remington 870 shotguns.

And, if that weren’t enough to sway you, many of these stocks are highly adjustable as well, for length of pull, comb height, and more, delivering a custom-like fit to the shooter, as needed, in the field.
