Do not be misled about the false claims of being born again. Salvation is granted to those who repent and stop sinning. Jesus died for your sins so that you get clean. He then expects you to stay clean. Stay away from the wolves in sheeps clothing with false doctrines of ‘once saved always saved’ and ‘saved by grace alone’ doctrines. Those doctrines are lies from Satan that have infiltrated Christianity and polluted it. Most Christians today will never be saved. When they find out that they have been listening to ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ and also find that they are not ‘raptured out’ but instead are going through the horrors of the Great Tribulation, they will become angry with God and will end up taking the ‘mark of the beast’ and losing their souls. Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Joh 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Joh 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Joh 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
Though you do not believe one must be born again, the scripture is plain. At one time you did not believe and then you did believe because of someone’s witness to you, or by any other means. At that time you were born again. Before you believed you were of the spirit of the world and lost to sin. However, once you began to read the word and began to understand you are born of the Word of God. The word becomes your lifeline. This is born again.
Someone who is raised in a church is taught the doctrine of that church. It would seem that we can agree together that no one church has the truth, (you said to leave the church) this supports scripture to a point. Come out of her my children. When one realizes that the church they were raised in is not the true body of Christ, and they begin to search the scripture for the truth, they ae born again of the spirit of the word as Peter taught
1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
So, though you may not understand the true meaning of being born again, you most probably have been born again yourself. This is like the Rapture. Many teach that a rapture is not true Christian doctrine because the word Rapture does not appear in scripture. However, the word rapture means to be wrapped up and carried away. The following scriptures describe being wrapped up and carried away;
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

So often we get caught up arguing about things that only divide us. What you say is true, we must repent. Without repentance there is no forgiveness of sin, but without the Holy Ghost, though we repent, there is no power to Stay the course. It is the love of the Holy Ghost that gives us the fear of God that we need to stay the course, and if we falter, get back up and try again. This is the mercy of God, that though we fail him, he will not utterly forsake us.
You are right that Satan comes with lying signs and wonders, but do not be as the Pharisees who, seeing the miracles, said he does this by the spirit of Beelzebub the king of the demons.
