EARTHQUAKE Hits Near New Madrid County, MO. (Video)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

According to KFVS-TV  ”A small earthquake rattled areas near New Madrid County, Missouri. Friday morning.

Preliminary reports from the Cooperative New Madrid Seismic Network, the earthquake happened just after 6 a.m. and had a magnitude of  2.5.

The location was about 7 miles southwest of New Madrid and about 9 miles from Portageville.”  I will update this story as news becomes available.

This is the second earthquake in a week within the New Madrid zone. Earlier this week The National Weather Service in Paducah, KY.,  reported a 2.6 magnitude earthquake occured near Kevil, Kentucky at 6:35pm CST.

As activity in the New Madrid Siesmic Zone increases, it leaves you wondering if this is all leading up to the big one.

Could this be the beginning of the great awakening of the New Madrid Earthquake zone? An early warning for the big future event or nothing more than a small quake?

Unexplained Booms

There has also been recent unexplained “booms” that sound like distant thunder or explosions that have been reportedly heard across the tri-state area in the past few weeks. Reports of another unexplained boom was felt and heard Sunday afternoon just before 2:00 pm, about four and a half hours before the 6:35 pm earthquake. These have been associated with activity within the New Madrid fault. Before the big earthquake of 1811 Loud Thunder Sounds of distant thunder and the sound of loud explosions accompanied the earthquakes.

New Madrid. That’s a perfect place for a earthquake, isn’t it.

      2.6 a mere rumbling!

depends on the depth of the quake. 2.5 at a shallow depth and standing near the epicenter we would be stumbling for footing.

I beg your pardon in 1988 we had a 6.1 here and we went outside for security. No way were we stumbling. Yes, it shook. The ground felt as if it were being shaken by a jackhammer but we stood upright. Check out videos of Japan earthquakes when they have 7++. They swanger.

so, that makes me wonder if they were fracking way back in 1811?

Man-made…let’s see how bad they make it or even use it for a false flag disaster…

2.5 quakes are usually not felt by tremors or shakes. does EXPLAIN the booms
