Bill Tomaszewski isn’t one to waste time. The Kentfield resident earned his law degree while working as a New Jersey police officer for 20 years. In his retirement, he’s become the company counsel for Wine.com – and he’s taken up beekeeping.

It was only a matter of time before his latest hobby became a business.

“I started beekeeping about nine and a half years ago,” said Tomaszewski, who now operates the Marin Bee Co. with his wife, Debra. “Last year I decided to turn what was becoming an expensive hobby into something that would break even.”
