The IPO Buzz: Lyntris (LYNX) Cuts IPO at Pricing & Prices it at $17.50 – Below Range
Lyntris (LYNX) slashed its IPO’s size at pricing to 17 million shares – DOWN from 24 million shares in the prospectus – and priced the deal at $17.50 – $1.50 below the bottom of the $19.00-to-$22.00 range in the prospectus – to raise $297.5 million on Tuesday night, Aug. 18, 2026. Those numbers represent a cut of about 40 percent in the IPO’s size. Market Cap: $1.89 billion
Lyntris’ IPO is set to start trading tomorrow – Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026 – on the NYSE.
Evercore ISI and Citigroup led the joint book-running team. Guggenheim Partners, BofA Securities, Baird, Raymond James and William Blair also served as joint book-runners.
Note: Trive Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm, created Lyntris this year – 2026 – by combining two other firms in a rollup.
Lyntris (LYNX Proposed) was cut in size and price – to reflect the late afternoon price talk.

Falls Church, Virginia-based Lyntris Inc. provides solutions for defense tech connectivity for military customers, including the U.S Department of Defense and U.S. allies, the prospectus said. Its solutions focus on three areas: sensor architecture; sensor hardware, and data software platforms. Its solutions “are used in missile defense; maritime domain awareness, and space ISR and communications missions.”
