Fire & Flower Holdings Corp (TSE: FAF) (OTCMKTS: FFLWF) is an adult-use cannabis retailer which has grown to be one the largest in the Canadian market. The company currently owns 87 stores nation-wide and continues to add to that number consistently. Through the strategic investment of Alimentation Couche-Tard (OTCMKTS: ANCTF) (OTCMKTS: ANCUF) (owner of Circle K convenience stores) and a licensing agreement with American Acres, the Company has set its sights on the global expansion as new cannabis markets emerge. CEO Trevor Fencott joins us to discuss all things cannabis including company developments, the black market forcing retailers to innovate, and the largest weed product categories.

“We are evolving our relationship with [Alimentation Couche-Tard/Circle K]. Our pilot program in Alberta using 600 sq ft of their existing real estate to have a co-located store. And of course we are exploring those opportunities in other provinces. Stay tuned on that but thats certainly in the works” – Fire & Flower CEO Trevor Fencott

On top of having one of the largest retail footprints, Fire & Flower also has a successful wholesale business segment which has seen strong growth in its latest financials. The company reported its fourth straight quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA and a 91% YoY quarterly revenue growth back in June.

We recently talked about The Distributor of Your Favourite Cannabis Products | Humble & Fume (HMBL). Fire & Flower entered into an agreement to sell Humble & Fume Inc. (CNSX:HMBL) accessories to consumers in North America.

Watch the full interview to learn about FAF’s Circle K pilot program, the emergence of deep discount cannabis, and the company’s retail margins.
