At any rate, the idea that the DSA will simply fall in line for Crowley in the same way that Piker and the socialists demand of Democrats in Michigan is clearly unrealistic. And that means that Crowley may find himself a lonely figure in the general election, with the figurative knives stuck in the back of his campaign. In its way, it’s analogous to Jasmine Crockett’s refusal to play along with James Talarico in Texas, and will likely have a similar electoral effect (Hot Air).
