UN Human Rights Committee Demands Britain Abase Itself

Cash payments to blacks are not the only race-based order the United Nations has issued recently. Modernity reports on outrageous demands that the United Kingdom abase itself:

After years of toppled statues, boarded-up war memorials and official lectures about “colonialism,” a UN human-rights committee now wants the country that ended the Atlantic slave trade to fill its public squares with statues of “people of African descent.”

If you have read your Orwell, you might guess what the UN calls its committee devoted to imposing racial discrimination:

This comes in the form of formal “reparatory justice” guidance from the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, published six months after member states voted in New York to treat the transatlantic trade as the “gravest crime against humanity” and to press former slaving nations for apology, restitution and cash.

That 620,000 Americans died in a brutal civil war largely fought to end slavery counts for no more than the Royal Navy ending the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The USA will also be expected to grovel and cough up cash.

The guidance suggests that “Public spaces should honour the contributions of people of African descent and clearly acknowledge the wrongs of those who supported or benefited from historical atrocities.”

Taking our money is not enough. They want us to crawl. A willingness to do this is instilled in public schools:

The committee adds that schools “must ensure that schoolbooks and curricula present accurate, unbiased accounts of transatlantic chattel slavery, its aftermath and current realities, based on thorough research.”

That is, children must be submersed in a twisted and myopic version of history, according to which BIPOCs are inherently sacred and Europeans are irredeemably bad.

Censorship is also on the agenda:

It further outlines that reparations should include policies “eradicating xenophobia towards migrants and others perceived as such.”

Anything short of enthusiastic support for the looting, displacement, and eventual eradication of the European population counts as “xenophobia.”

As for statues representing the greatness of Western Civilization that were toppled by vermin during the Black Lives Matter riots,

Protesters who tore down monuments linked to slavery and empire, [the committee] complains, were unfairly “disparaged” in the media, their cause painted as “obscure” and “Left-wing.”

You can see why they want tight control of what opinions are expressed. If people stray from the narrative, they might recover their self-respect.
