Ufologist John Mooner Photographes Another Alien Craft

I was positioned high on the Highweek church hillside, giving me a commanding vantage point overlooking the picturesque Teign Estuary. I scanned the horizon, constantly alert for anything unusual. This region of Devon has long proven to be a hotspot for the inexplicable; having witnessed numerous anomalous events here in the past, I’ve learned to keep my camera ready at all times.

Experience tells me that if you watch this airspace long enough, the extraordinary will eventually reveal itself. It was mid-afternoon when I turned my gaze toward the A380 Besigheim Way bridge as it spanned the shimmering waters of the River Teign. The steady, mundane flow of traffic rushed across the bridge, oblivious to the skies above them. But my attention was instantly yanked away from the traffic on the bridge by something entirely out of place.

Hovering silently in mid-air, directly above the busy bridge, was a peculiar, solid-looking, brown oval-shaped craft with a small pulsating light on the top. It cut an imposing silhouette against the daylight, possessing roughly the size of a standard Ford Transit van. There was no exhaust, no visible means of propulsion keeping it suspended over the traffic.

Acting on pure instinct, I raised my trusty Nikon P900 - a camera renowned for its powerful zoom - and snapped a single, crisp photograph of the anomaly before it could alter its behavior. Emboldened by the capture, I immediately began to zoom in to get a closer, high-detail look at the structure of the object. But the moment I zeroed in on it, the physics of the encounter shifted entirely. The craft began to lose its opaque density. Right before my eyes, the brown-looking hull turned translucent, shimmering like heat haze against the sky, before completely dissolving into thin air. 

One second a van-sized object was hovering over a major highway; the next, the airspace was empty. I stood there in the wind, utterly baffled, left scratching my head as I replayed the moment in my mind. Had the craft activated some form of advanced optical cloaking technology? And phase-shifted out of my visual spectrum entirely, or had it seemingly vacated the spot above the highway in the blink of an eye?

Regrettably, my equipment limitations became glaringly apparent in that moment. Lacking a full-spectrum camera or specialized night-vision gear to scan the infrared and ultraviolet bands, I had no way to probe the invisible wavelengths to verify if the craft was still lingering there invisibly. But practical reality delivered a swift verdict: to both my naked eyes and the high-powered optics of the Nikon P900, it was utterly and completely gone.

Reflecting on the sighting, the implications were fascinating. It has become increasingly clear to me that these extraterrestrial craft utilize some form of sophisticated adaptive camouflage - a technology that allows them to bend light, mirror their surroundings, and blend seamlessly into the ambient environment whenever they wish to evade detection.

Despite the abrupt end to the sighting, a profound sense of satisfaction washed over me. I was genuinely thrilled to have successfully documented yet another undeniable encounter with an alien craft right here in the familiar, beautiful scenery of the Teign Estuary. The photograph was taken at 2:59 PM on the 18th of October 2021, at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.
