ARK OF THE COVENANT - STOLEN BY COMMANDOS 11/11/2014?

“The Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, His Holiness Abune Mathias, announced this morning that the most prized biblical treasure in the world, the Ark of Covenant, was stolen last night from the catacombs of the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion.  The guardians of the artefact were allegedly put to sleep through the use of chemical weapons, before the robbers entered the crypt and stole the precious Holy item.

The criminal operation was reportedly executed by a team of 12 to 16 highly-trained professionals who travelled aboard two black military helicopters. They landed less than 500 meters away from their objective after allegedly arriving from the East. The men were dressed in black military-style uniforms and seemed to function as a well coordinated army unit. They were equipped with night-vision equipment and armed with high caliber weapons, giving them an incredible advantage over the local security forces.”

While I don’t yet know if this story is legitimate – or if the real Ark was in Ethiopia to begin with – here is a relevant excerpt from the book  Antichrist 2016-2019:

“The Royal Chronicles of Ethiopia tell us that Prince Menelik was the son of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon of Israel.  Menelik was raised by Solomon after the queen left, and was educated by Temple priests until age 19, when (as the Ethiopian national epic, the Kebra-Nagast tells us) the Queen of Sheba died, and the Ethiopian court sent for Menelik to come to Ethiopia as king.  Their story claims that Solomon made Menelik a replica of the Ark, as he would be too far from Jerusalem to worship at the Temple.  But Menelik was concerned with the growing apostasy in Israel, and (allegedly) with the help of like-minded priests, switched the replica with the real Ark and took it to what he believed would be a safer location in Ethiopia, where many people believe it remains to this day – in the Church of Zion of Mary in Aksum.[i]  I am reminded of Joshua 22:28 “See the copy of the altar of the Lord which our fathers made, not for burnt offering or for sacrifice; rather it is a witness between us and you.”

Ethiopian Falashas (“Falasha” means “exile” in the Amharic language) claim Jewish descent from David and Solomon through Menelik and his Israelite companions.  Ethiopian Emporer Haile Selassie (who was overthrown by a communist coup in 1974) claimed such royal lineage and his family still claims royal Davidic descent. Ezekiel 39:21 (in some versions, like the King James) tells us that God said “I will set my glory among the heathen.”  Could this be a reference to the Ark of the Covenant, which was the seat of the Shekinah Glory, being hidden in Africa?

Isaiah 18:1 mentions a land “which lies beyond the rivers of Cush” (Ethiopia) and later (in 18:7) suggests that from this land “At that time a gift of homage will be brought to the Lord of hosts from a people *tall and smooth” (*literally – “drawn out.”)  There are over 120,000 Ethiopian Falasha Jews in Israel today, already having been “drawn out” of Ethiopia.  Could this group of African Jews eventually deliver the Ark of the Covenant?  Could they have done so already?”

If a Third Temple will be in place in Jerusalem by 2016 as I conclude in Antichrist 2016-2019, what better justification would there be for building a new Temple than the need to properly house a “newly discovered” ARK of the COVENANT?
