Jesus told us that the love of many would grow cold as we neared the time of the end, that empathy would be destroyed, and as morals and ethics were torn asunder so would the marriage vows of fidelity be turned upside down, destroying both men and women along with the children. Inasmuch as the family unit is the foundation of any nation/state and even world civilization, then Satan and his earthly minions (UN, WEF, WHO and many others) would target the marriage bond, destroy it and slowly that rot and decay would in turn destroy the nation leading to Antichrist.
