Jesus - the 'ifs' and the 'I's' of life mislead us, given September 23rd 2020

Even though this message is taken mainly from the Bible, there is a principle involved here: that the little self of the personality must die in order for it to rebecome the greater self of all. Symbolised for us by Jesus dying on the Cross; the Phoenix consuming itself in the fire, and the caterpillar dying for it to become the butterfly, an analogy that O.M. Aivanhov adopted to illustrate for us the path ahead.

If only….I would have…how sad these words. “If” and “I” seem to continually be getting in the way of our peaceful journey through life. Great obstacles to overcome; the ‘if’s’ and ‘I’s’ of life.

“It matters not how straight the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.” [Invictus by William E. Henley] But it does matter. “If” discounts truths found in The Word of God. “I” attempts to replace God in our lives. ‘Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every word He speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you. (Proverbs 2:6 TPT)’ If you choose to follow good counsel, divine design will watch over you and understanding will protect you from making poor choices [removing both 'if' and 'I'], (Proverbs 2:11 TPT)’ Keep your heart and mind stayed on God. (Isaiah 26:3)‘

‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)’ The America of the past was consumed by sin; powers of darkness gained more and more of America’ freedoms. Unaware freedom has been stolen or handed over by blind greedy profiteers and now the price for the sin of the nation is being demanded and paid.

Will you treasure His wisdom? Will you remove self, giving God the freedom to work? Will you relinquish control of the situation and regardless, with joy-filled heart cry ‘ABBA, Your will be done?’ ‘You will hear wisdom’ warning as she preaches courageously to those who will stop to listen? (Proverbs 1:21 TPT, the passion translation)’
