Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland gets incredible surprise from fan
Colston Loveland didn’t waste time giving Chicago Bears fans more reason to cheer. The tight end lived up to expectations after the Bears drafted him at No. 10 in 2025 and played a key role in his rookie season. His strong performance helped lead the franchise to win the NFC North crown and reach the Divisional Round.
Loveland emerged as one of Caleb Williams’ favorite targets, recording 58 receptions for 713 yards in 15 games. He showed that he can translate his collegiate success into the NFL. The 6-foot-6, 241-pound athlete won the national championship with Michigan in 2023 and earned second-team All-American honors the following year.
He will look to build on his performance last season and prove that it wasn’t a fluke. Loveland also has a chance to prove that he could be one of Chicago’s cornerstones for years to come.

A Bears fan with the Instagram handle aliciagomez.art recently posted a video featuring Loveland. In it the fan is seen showing Loveland a painting of him that she made. It included the 22-year-old’s reaction upon seeing it. He was surprised and said, “That’s crazy,” during the meet-and-greet.

The fan had the painting signed and also posed for a photo with Loveland. She also revealed that she made a painting of Williams, which she hopes the quarterback will autograph soon.
Loveland and Chicago are already preparing for the upcoming season. They are currently on their second block of OTAs after finishing the first on Friday. It will run for three days before they take a short break.
Next up is the mandatory veterans minicamp scheduled on June 9-11. Head coach Ben Johnson expressed satisfaction with what he has seen from his players and is optimistic for the 2026 campaign.
