Latest rumor suggests Chicago Bulls could make trade in 2026 NBA Draft
We are just a few weeks away from the 2026 NBA Draft and for the Chicago Bulls, they have the chance to really get their rebuild going on the right foot.
After making a regime change, the Bulls are moving in a new direction. They will have a very important offseason ahead and with two picks in the top 15, they could come out of this draft with two long-term pieces. Chicago will pick at No. 4 and No. 15 overall. While No. 4 will likely be one of Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer or Caleb Wilson, No. 15 is were it gets real intriguing for them.
Chicago will have a lot of options at 15, just outside of the lottery. Depending on what they want to do, they could go any different way due to how the roster is structured. But will Chicago even stay at 15? One analyst puts out the possibility they could move the pick.
Will Chicago Bulls move pick No. 15?
In his latest mock draft, Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor makes his picks and has the Bulls taking Wilson. But what he says about the pick and No. 15 is interesting:
League sources say the Bulls hosted a workout Tuesday featuring four potential lottery picks: guards Keaton Wagler and Kingston Flemings, and forwards Nate Ament and Morez Johnson. Chicago also holds the 15th pick, but it’s more likely than not Wagler, Flemings and Ament (and possibly Johnson) are all gone by that selection. So it has front office executives curious: Could Chicago be open to trading down from this fourth pick? Or could Chicago be looking to trade up from 15th? Or could Chicago shock everyone with the choice here? Time will tell.
O’Connor does have the Bulls staying put and has the Bulls taking Baylor guard Cameron Carr with the pick. Carr would give the Bulls’ some much needed help on the wing.
It’s doubtful the Bulls will move off of No. 4. It doesn’t make sense to do that, especially with all of the needs that they have currently. The chance to take a player like Wilson or Boozer is not something they should pass up unless they can get a legit franchise player in a deal. Moving 15 could be something the Bulls explore but there are just too many holes on this roster.
