Coby Bryant makes announcement away from Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears safety Coby Bryant is giving back to his community.
The 27-year-old announced the Bryant Football Showcase. It is set for July 10 at Buddy LaRosa Stadium in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. The camp splits into two age groups: 6-12 and 13-18. Past and present NFL players will join Bryant to mentor the youth.
Bryant took to Instagram to make the announcement outside of his role with the Bears.

Coby Bryant Brings Super Bowl Pedigree to Chicago Bears Defense
The Bears made Bryant their top free agent priority this offseason. Chicago locked him in on a three-year, $40 million deal. Bryant arrives fresh off a Super Bowl title with the Seattle Seahawks.
Bryant posted 66 tackles (39 solo) and four interceptions across 15 regular-season starts in 2025. He added 10 tackles and two passes defensed in three playoff victories. His 65.5 overall PFF defensive grade ranked 45th among 98 qualified safeties. His coverage grade checked in at 61.9 and his run-defense grade at 70.3.
Chicago views Bryant as a long-term anchor at the position. The Bears see him as capable of producing at a Kevin Byard level with more runway ahead. Bryant is also five years younger than Byard.
He will help bring rookie first-round pick Dillon Thieneman up to speed as he settles into his new home.
Head coach Ben Johnson could barely contain his excitement about Bryant’s arrival, calling him a “trained killer” from day one.
