One Chicago Bears position considered ‘among best in NFL’
The tight end position on the Chicago Bears’ 2026 roster is packed with talent.
Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet and Sam Roush were the three standouts for the Bears last season, and each had strong contributions to the team
According to a recent article by Alyssa Barbieri of Bearswire, the Bears have a wealth of talented tight ends who form a group that is “among the best in (the) NFL.” She also believes that TE is “arguably the biggest strength on the roster right now.”
“If Chicago’s offense finds success once again in 2026, the tight ends will be key,” Barbieri added.
Loveland was the key tight end in the group, with 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns, while Kmet had 30 receptions for 347 yards and two touchdowns. It remains to be seen if Roush will translate his collegiate success to the pros.

After finishing with an 11-6 record and topping the NFC North Division last season, Chicago is expected to make a deep playoff run once again.
They defeated the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round. However, they succumbed to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional round.
Loveland and Caleb Williams will still be responsible for the team’s success in the upcoming season. However, the front office added depth around their stars.
They added Coby Bryant, Devin Bush, Khalif Raymond, and Neville Gallimore to fill key roles across the roster at every position.
Coach Ben Johnson is likely to maximize the current roster’s potential in an effort to lead them to the Super Bowl. They were only two games short of making it to The Big Game.
