WNBA legend Lisa Leslie has words for Angel Reese after big news
Women’s basketball icon Lisa Leslie reacted to Angel Reese’s new career milestone on social media.
Leslie continues to support Reese’s success both on and off the court, sending a positive message about her new Barbie Signature Role Models.
On Saturday, Reese announced that Mattel will release official Barbie models to celebrate her incredible basketball ascent and impact off of it.
“This Barbie Know Ball 
,” the Atlanta Dream star captioned on her Instagram account. “The Angel Reese Barbie Doll Is Out Now! @reebok Angel Reese 1 Barbis out 8/3! 
.”
The Los Angeles Sparks legend was happy for this latest achievement for Reese through her comment on Reese’s post.
“Yessss
I’m so happy for you and all the little girls who get this opportunity 
,” Leslie wrote.
The No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft is the second WNBA player in history to have her own Barbie Signature models after Sue Bird, who was the first to have one in July 2024.

Angel Reese’s Barbie Model is now available to purchase
Fans can now purchase Reese’s Barbie Model for $38 at Target or online via Target, Walmart, Amazon and Mattep Shop.
Reese’s doll features a custom pink basketball jersey with the word “Angel” on the front. The number five is on the front to represent her current jersey number in the pro ranks, while number 10 is at the back to honor her college number at LSU.
The model will also have a pink headband with long hair, wearing white and pink shoes. Completing the look is the pink basketball at the waist with a Barbie text.
This launch coincides with the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, where Reese will play for Team Coop. The event will take place inside the United Center in Chicago.
In her first season with Atlanta, Reese is averaging a double-double of 15.4 points and 11.5 rebounds with 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals in 25 games.
