Exciting Caitlin Clark news announced amid WNBA offseason
Caitlin Clark has already had a busy WNBA offseason, and her schedule will be packed again this week. Exciting news about the Indiana Fever superstar was announced on Friday.
Clark is fresh off a historical campaign, shattering several league records. She also earned her third straight All-Star nod and suited up for Team USA at the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin. However, Indiana’s season ended in heartbreak with a first-round elimination.
She and the Fever qualified for the playoffs as the No. 6 seed after finishing the regular season with a 28-16 record. They faced the No. 3-seeded Las Vegas Aces and forced a Game 3 on Oct. 1. A’ja Wilson and Co. sent them home for the second consecutive year after they lost 94-83 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Caitlin Clark set for guest appearance
Clark will be a guest on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday. It’s part of her ongoing promotion for her first children’s book, EXTRAordinary! A Little Extra to Reach Big Dreams. Chef Gail Simmons, November Book Club author Mary Beth Keane and Deals & Steals with ABC e-commerce editor Tory Johnson are the episode’s other guests.
The 24-year-old’s publication is an uplifting debut rhyming picture book she wrote and Adriana Predoi as the illustrator. It encourages readers to put “extra” time and “extra” attention into cherishing moments with loved ones. She first announced it in May and will release it on the same day as her guest appearance on the morning show.
Meanwhile, the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will also guest Clark on Friday. However, she will likely not just talk about her book and could answer questions about different topics about her life and the WNBA. The three-time All-Star could play some golf like she did in previous offseasons. She also vowed to put in more work in the gym to further improve her game.
