Adotrip Exclusive: Glimpses from the Travel Diaries of Actress Isha Koppikar

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

One of the hottest Bollywood actresses who taught us the true meaning of dance, masala, and moves with her superhit song Khallas, Isha Koppikar, is an avid traveller too. The loving wife and doting mother might be missing out of action from the films, but she often keeps us hooked on her via her Instagram handle.

The gorgeousness-personified lass is often seen sharing pictures from her trips on her social media handles. Intrigued by the same, Adotrip touched base with her to know the kind of traveller she is, and while her stories have left us smitten, you be ready to go on a virtual vacay as well.

The first thing she spoke about was what travelling means to her? “I am very passionate about travelling. If I had my way, I would love to travel for the rest of my life. I will not have one abode, in fact, I would have houses at every corner of the world. Travelling from one place to another with a purpose or experience makes it even more meaningful and this indeed is the essence of travelling.”

The actress also said that she likes to be known as a Bhartiya and gave us multiple reasons why people must come and experience India. “We have undervalued our own culture so much. For instance, yoga, we have International Yoga Day wherein people from across the world value the art form that originated in India. Whenever I travel abroad, I realize that there is already so much in our own country but we don’t know how to market our diversity which is exceptional and undeniably most unique. Apart from learning ethos and striking diversity, travellers get an opportunity to explore the altering experience of yoga and Ayurveda in India”, said Koppikar.

Being an ardent follower of Yoga, she also spoke about the same, “I have been practicing yoga for almost 18 years now. It made me more balanced emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Yoga taught me the difference between sympathy and empathy as once I was a big-time empath. I have been to Kerala; Munnar and Calicut for Ayurveda and detox. Once every year, I travel only to detox. Ananda in Rishikesh is brimming on my bucket list. I have heard so much about this luxury yoga retreat. I am looking forward to being there”, stated Isha.
