U.S.-Mexico War of 2011 to Start Soon

Prediction:A border war between the United States and Mexico will occur during 2011.  Here is the scenario: This U.S.-Mexico War of 2011 will not be against the current Mexican government.  The Mexican government is relatively weak.  The War on Drugs is really heating up on the U.S.-Mexico border.  The Mexican drug cartels have been enabled and emboldened by the Obama administration and progressives with their ill-advised border and illegal immigration policies in the United States.  The Obama administration has teamed up with the current Mexican government to fight a legal battle with the State of Arizona.  The drug cartels will overcome and take over the Mexican government.  Increased attacks by the neo-Mexican government run by the drug cartels will occur against the United States at the southern border.  We will be forced to defend ourselves by conducting military strikes in the Mexican homeland against the neo-Mexican government.

Major General Paul E. Vallely (U.S. Army, Ret.) wrote an article titled “War on the Southern Border: Cartels and Terrorists are Winning.”  In that piece, Vallely (2010) writes about organizing border task force groups (BTFGs).  These BTFGs must be established now in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas where they have common borders with Mexico.  Vallely proposes establishing three BTFGs—one in each in the border areas of California, Arizona, and Texas.  Approximately 5,000 joint task force (JTF) warriors should be assigned to each BTFG.  There will be a 20-mile “No-go” zone on the Mexican side of the border.  Our troops will be ordered to shoot to kill on sight any persons or groups in this zone participating in criminal or illegal activities against the United States.

The war will be brief—in a matter of weeks—before it will be over.  The United States will conquer Mexico and annex it as a territory of the United States.  We will then rebuild Mexico, place it in trustworthy Mexican leaders’ hands, and allow the citizens to vote on either making Mexico a state or combination of states of the United States or to become a sovereign nation again.  All of this will play out in a matter of several years up to a decade.  This is the scenario I visualize for the war on the southern border.
