So… Barack Obama won re-election to the office of President of the United States, and Republican challenger Mitt Romney has slipped into obscurity faster than any candidate I’ve ever seen. Aside from futile, quasi-navel gazing posturing on the part of Congress over the “fiscal cliff” upon which the American economy is perched, news coverage since the election has been rife with diversion and non-issues.
We’re already sick of hearing autopsies of the Romney campaign. Suffice it to say that there is a host of reasons that Romney should not have been the GOP nominee, and that he could have run his campaign better. For years, conservatives have been driving home the point that when the Republican Party wants to win, it should advance conservative candidates, which Romney was most assuredly not. They have also rightly pointed out that Romney did not run on any of the party base’s core principles, thus failing to provide a distinction between him and Obama.

Generally, when someone cries foul after a defeat, more often than not the charge is simply sour grapes, thus it is not considered seemly to cry foul without good reason. When the evidence of cheating on the part of a victor is staring one in the face, however, it becomes a moral obligation to at least discuss the matter – and the fact that two-thirds of the electorate aren’t aware that the Obama administration is a fundamentally nefarious one hardly matters in such a pursuit.
As we got increasingly closer to the 2012 general election, it was my assertion that Obama would not be re-elected without employing widespread fraud of one form or another. Given the character of the Obama campaign, I took it for granted that fraud would be rampant, but the extent to which it might affect the election was then unknown. Now, at a week out from the election, there are still US congressional races that remain in question, and voter turnout numbers that just don’t add up. From counties across America showing well over 100% voter turnout, to precincts reporting 99% voter turnout for Obama, to military ballots being delayed or destroyed in plane crashes, to the illegal ejection of Republican inspectors from polling places, and much more, we have scenarios that would have every Democrat operative in the country screaming from the rooftops if the shoe was on the other foot.
Now, it appears that Americans are being asked to presume that Obama “would have won anyway.”

I do think we are headed for civil war or revolution, but not just yet. The level of pain and suffering is still insufficient for most people to be willing to face the pain that will come from violent confrontation. Give it another 5 to 10 years and violence will erupt spontaneously.
Not only will more pain come from continuation of tyranny from the federal government, but it will also intensify as the fraudulent, unstable, predatory, unsustainable monetary racket run by the banks falls apart. And with each day that passes we use up more of the cheap oil coming from older oil fields, and become more dependent on the expensive oil from the newer, smaller, dirtier, more remote ones. As more energy is used up to find oil, less is available to fuel the economy. As more of our wealth is drained into the bank vaults, the less citizens have on which to survive. With each new law coming out of Washington, DC, our lives become less free.
In the interim, bend over and grab your ankles, cause that is the position to assume when dealing with government.

The result of that election is now responsible for that gigantic debt the USA now bears. Clinton left a surplus…Bush sucked it up and put our asses in debt worse than any president in US history. Now Obama catches hell over something he didn’t even do. This country already had a civil war…one of the bloodiest in world history. We don’t need another one. When Bush won, we lefters shut up and sucked it up for eight years while that moron started multiple wars he couldn’t win and racked up a debt no one could pay. We never cried and threatened secession. Just because your side doesn’t win doesn’t give you the right to run off on your own and do what you want. Left sucks it up…Right should have to as well. Don’t take me wrong here…I’m from Louisiana…and got family in Texas. I’m about as Southern as they get, but I’m also not a moron. These petitions barely represent the population of a single county in Texas…and hardly a majority or even close to it. The numbers are even lower in the other states.
Secession is a state’s right to an extent, I personally believe. But after Lincoln’s administration, such is tantamount to treason and if it didn’t happen in 1861-65, it ain’t gonna happen now. We’re all Americans here. If we can’t accept majority rule, then the whole shebang is worth nothing. Sure you may not like Obama. Well I didn’t like Bush. It’s how the system works. We don’t run every time a candidate we don’t like gets in. We wait four years and do our best to get rid of him…and after 8, he’s gone irregardless. The system works. Maybe not always how we want it to, but it’s far better than anything anybody else has come up with.
Cut Obama some slack. The man can’t fix eight years of f*ckup by Bush in four. Maybe not even in eight. Give him some credit…we are technically better off than we were when he took office. Maybe not a lot…but a little is better than nothing. And I like the Obama care thing much either, but I also don’t like insurance companies. We take the good with the bad sometimes. Our ability to tolerate politics is what makes our country strong and successful. Breaking off and fighting when your candidate loses…that’s third-world crap, man. This isn’t a third world country last I checked. We’re supposed to be the example to the world.
