For more than 800 years, scholars have pointed to a prophecy regarding “the last pope,” and of a “great apostasy” and even the destruction of Rome. Taken from St. Malachy’s “Prophecy of the Popes,” it includes a list of verses predicting each of the Roman Catholic popes from Pope Celestine II to the final pope, “Peter the Roman,” whose reign would end in the destruction of Rome.
Enter Francis. More than any other Pope now living, Pope Francis is a change agent who people say is the last pope the Catholic Church will ever see. Only in office a very short time and already he has discussed letting priests marry, atheists going to Heaven, a proposed alliance with Islam, and a broad unification off all the earth’s religions. I don’t know about you, but that’s a pope with an overflowing agenda and one who is looking to get something done as quickly as possible.

Vatican City (AFP) – The Vatican on Tuesday launched an unprecedented worldwide consultation on modern families including same-sex couples as part of Pope Francis’s drive to reform the Catholic Church.
A questionnaire has been sent to bishops around the world asking them for detailed information about the “many new situations requiring the Church’s attention and pastoral care”.
“Concerns which were unheard of until a few years ago have arisen today as a result of different situations, from the widespread practice of cohabitation… to same-sex unions,” it said.
Religious watchers said the 39 questions were unusual because of their non-judgemental, practical nature in what could be a signal of greater openness and increased pastoral care regardless of a believer’s background.
Referring to gay couples, one questions asks: “What pastoral attention can be given to people who have chosen to live in these types of union?”
“In the case of unions of persons of the same sex who have adopted children, what can be done pastorally in light of transmitting the faith?”
On remarried divorcees, who under the current rules are not allowed to receive Holy Communion in a Catholic church, the questionnaire asks: “Do they feel marginalised or suffer from the impossibility of receiving the sacraments?”
On divorce and separated couples in general, it asks: “How do you deal with this situation in appropriate pastoral programmes?”
The initiative is part of preparations for a synod of bishops next year and another in 2015 that the Vatican said will formulate “working guidelines in the pastoral care of the person and the family”.
Lorenzo Baldisseri, head of the synod of bishops, told reporters that the meeting’s theme “reflects very well the pastoral zeal with which the Holy Father wishes to approach the proclamation of the Gospel to the family in today’s world”.
He said the consultation also showed Francis, who has said the Catholic Church is too “Vatican-centric”, wanted more “collegiality”.
Cardinal Peter Erdo, president of the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe, referred in particular to the increase in cohabiting Catholic couples who do not intend to marry, saying “the phenomenon requires a deepened reflection.”
Archbishop Bruno Forte, special secretary of the synod, said “the Church has to better its understanding, it is not a static body. We do not have the answers ready, but we cannot behave like an ostrich, with its head in the sand.”
Vatican expert Marco Politi, who writes for the Italian weekly L’Espresso, told AFP that “it is hugely significant that the Church, instead of presenting its ‘truth’ on families, civil unions and homosexuality from on high, wants to hear about the experience of the local faithful.”
“What’s interesting is how bishops are going about gathering the information. Some bishops are taking Francis’s drive further forward, while others are putting on the brakes,” he said.
In England, for example, the questionnaire is available online so individuals can express their opinions directly, while bishops elsewhere “believe their role is to filter the answers”, he added.
Francis has said priests should baptise children even when the parents are not married and, when asked recently about his views on gays, he replied: “If someone is gay and seeks the Lord with good will, who am I to judge?” source – Yahoo News

This article is largely fiction. Pope Francis will not be changing any of the Church’s teachings because he doesn’t have the authority to overturn the teachings of his predecessors. The Church follows the Bible’s teachings. The Church doesn’t have the authority to rewrite the Bible.
Many people find it difficult to follow certain Bible teachings, especially regarding the proper use of sexuality. God knows that some people are weak — that’s why he said — “let them follow these teachings who can.”
If you try and fail, that’s one thing. But if you rewrite the Bible, that’s something God will not tolerate. Try your best and, if you fail, keep trying. God’s mercy is great for those who at least try to live decent lives.
Pope Francis is PETRUS ROMANUS, the last pope. He is of Roman descent and now sits on the Chair of St. Peter. Whoever says the pope is in “apostasy.” is a fool. God has never abandoned St. Peter and never will.

Not all that interested in what these so-called “mystics” have/had to say… Did you know that pope Francis used to be a stigmatist himself?.. The Bible and the Reformers who read and studied said Bible during the time of it being outlawed by Rome, came to the conclusion that the pope(RCC system) was/is the anti-Christ.
Before investigating the prophetic symbols that describe the characteristics of Antichrist, we need to understand that the Word of God tell us how to define symbols in prophecy. 2 Peter 1:20 says that, “…no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” According to the Word, Christians are told not to give our own opinion of what a prophetic symbol means. We must allow the Word of God to define it’s own symbols. Our private interpretations are useless. For example, the term “many waters” in prophecy doesn’t mean a large lake or ocean, the word “woman” does not mean an actual woman. They are symbolic images hidden in plain site so as to prevent the wicked from knowing the truth about the times we live in. If they knew it, they would be more effective in their attack against God’s remnant people, and that much more effective in twisting God’s Word..
Truth is, there are 404 verses in the book of Revelation, and out of those 404 verses, 278 of them carry the bulk of the prophetic message of that book. Did you know that all 278 of those verses can be found almost word for word in all the other books of the Bible? In other words, THE BIBLE DEFINES ITSELF PERFECTLY! Each symbol in Daniel, Revelation, or any other prophetic book are defined in detail in God’s Word. So, don’t let anyone give you their “opinion” or “interpretation” when preaching such things. We must always let the Word define the Word! That’s an easy way to expose false teachers. Just hear what they have to say, and then open a Bible and see if what they say matches up with what the Lord says regarding a certain symbol.
•Daniel 7:24, “And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.”
Daniel identifies immediately that the horns in this vision actually refer to kings. For further confirmation, later in Daniel 8:20 we see the two horns on the ram Daniel sees in vision are in fact the two kings of Media and Persia. When Pagan Rome fell in 476AD it resulted in the formation of TEN SEPARATE KINGDOMS. Who is this dragon in prophecy? According to Revelation 12:9 it is Satan. And as we know, Satan never stands before man in his true form. He is not allowed this option. The apostles and their followers initiated following the Lord’s day, instead of the Sabbath. This is fact, and can be found in the new testament as well as other writers of the early church in the first part of the second century.
So who should I believe, the real fathers of our Church or people whose religion got it’s start 1700 years later in the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
I have many difference in doctrine with protestant religions, because I have studied what the Apostles and early church actual doctrines were versus what the current Christians believe. The Protestant churches have many errors in doctrine, following the Lord Day’s is not one of those errors.
He already has made changes, for example where accusations within the church of pedophilia are given against priests, he has now forbidden it to be reported at all. Now it has to be completely forgotten and not reported to the police or to the church hierarchy. This is to prevent any further responsibility of the ‘church’ to it’s congregations. So remember that, and if your kids are raped by the priest to not bother reporting it to the ‘church’, because they won’t do anything at all, but go directly to the police.

3AM: Truth? The bible is hard to understand. I am by no means uneducated, but I find it extremely difficult to interpret the bible correctly. Maybe you are extremely clever. Another thing, I also find the bible to be scary. It scared the living **** outta me. I just kept thinking, well that’s it…there is no hope for me as I have made so many mistakes in my life. According to the bible we are ALL doomed. What about people who never read the bible because times have changed and more and more people decide to follow a different religion or no religion because they are overwhelmed with the thousands of different choices? And since you seem to know your field better than me or many others, why is the Vatican locking away scriptures from public view? What are they hiding? What are we not supposed to see that could possibly enlighten us? With their secrecy, aren’t they responsible that more and more people distrust them? Here in the UK churches are mostly empty and if you say out loud that you believe in God etc than you can almost know that they will laugh behind your back after they made jokes about you openly. Here its not like America where people still say grace b4 they eat. Not once did I see a family do that here. So, if you grow up like that, can you really be blamed for not being religious?
There is one more thing. I believe in God, but…..not because of the bible. Actually, the bible nearly caused me to choose Buddhism. Like I said: Reading the bible scared me. It was as if I have to believe or else. If not, one will burn in Hell forever. You see, it makes you a slave of fear. Only through fear will you be forced to believe. You can be a law abiding citizen all your life and never really do anything outrageous. But if you do not believe you burn in hell. You can also be a mass murderer and hurt people all your life, but if you believe than you go to heaven. And THAT is what people struggle with. As long as you regret hideous crimes and repent, you are saved. But people who have never really done anyone any real harm and have also done good deeds, they burn in the lake of fire where they are tortured over and over and over because they did not believe the bible version of god, or didn’t believe at all. Its not fair. I believed in god when I was a child so I will hold on to that because our pastor taught it in a not so scary way, but when I read it as an adult it was giving me nightmares of Hell literally.

You say we have to understand the bible just as it was written without personal interpretations. OK, so taking it as read is exactly the reason it scares people. What if the bible is right? What if the bible is missing information and this information is hidden in (or under) the Vatican? What if the Vatican holds the truth about History and Mankind? About who we really are?

I read your link. It doesn’t explain all the secrecy surrounding ancient texts and artifacts that the Vatican has under lock and key. Why is the public not allowed to see it? We all know there is a secret archive which was established in 1475. Its heavily guarded. I understand old scriptures, books and artifacts being guarded, but I don’t understand that NO ONE from the public is allowed to see. Why? What can they possibly hide for centuries that we are never ever supposed to find out?

So does that mean only the intellectual will be privileged to understand the word of God? The rest will burn in Hell? Did you manage to decode it? I haven’t! So its Hell for me, I guess. Ah well, along with millions of others we will be punished for eternity for being stupid. It does say in the bible that only 1/4 of mankind will go to heaven. Would that be the elite? Guess so.
I am not extremely clever as you put it, but my parents gave me a good Christian upbringing. They set a beautiful example for me and I really can’t complain and am very thankful for my parents and the start I had in life.., but I did not understand why faith was important or why I needed God… My dad said that we were/are blessed and that was good enough for me. Plain sailing then, I thought… I WAS CALLED A CHRISTIAN OR CALLED MYSELF A CHRISTIAN, without grasping the concept. It was just a given in our house and I suspected that was how things worked in every household in South Africa. Race wasn’t the issue it is today and our (South African) history struck me as kind of interesting with the Anglo Boer War and the Apartheid regime in later years and now what can only be described as reversed Apartheid under a very corrupt ANC government. Wasn’t keen on reading and definitely not interested in that old Bible gathering dust on my shelf. THINGS WERE SO SIMPLE THEN…
I strayed from my faith and the principals thereof and got into drugs because that was just part of growing up I thought. Got into lots of fights in clubs and totalled three cars the night of my matric farewell (can only thank God NOW that nobody was hurt then because I was drunk and SHOULD have gone to prison) and was hijacked a while after that on April fools 2000. Didn’t think that was funny!..
You see… I was now starting to question the road I was on and the friends I was with and for once in my drunken, drugged, meaningless and self-centered life. I felt the need and wanted to do something for someone else and the opportunity presented itself one night in a parking lot close to the club I was heading to. A guy was mugged on his way to work (He watches cars for a living/car watch guard) and he was lying there beaten up and he wanted me to take him to his home in a township not too far from the city so I did as he asked and dropped him at his place. On my way back to the club, I stopped at a gas station to ask for directions out of the township and a youngster came to me saying that he needed a lift to the city and as I pulled away he unlocked the back doors of the car from the front seat so two more people joined us AND I KNEW THAT THIS WAS IT FOR ME…

Bottom line… a bottle was smashed over my head from the guy sitting behind me and as I struggled to get out of the car while moving, they were on me as I got up from the ground and wanted to slit my throat with what remained of the bottle… I woke up with a pair of socks, boxers and a blood-stained shirt not knowing where I was. People came to me from a nearby house and phoned the police who then took me to a hospital in the city… Went home with a concussion, broken cheekbone, a couple of cuts and bruises and a note excusing me from college for a month… I still get the odd nightmare but this is how I came to remember what happened that night. I became VERY BITTER AND BLAMED GOD!!!
I began to distantiate myself from other people (including my family who only wanted to be there for me) and went for trauma counselling, drinking like it was going out of style. Two bottles of whisky a day (couldn’t every day but wanted to). I threw away all my friends and in violent fits of rage I wanted to kill myself because this world stopped making sense to me and the whisky stopped doing what it used to…I became a danger to others… DARK DAZE!!!
I wanted nothing to do with God, religion or His Word but finished seven years of studies somehow which ended in Jo’burg and I wanted to become a 3D animator… You see,.. I REALLY WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS REALITY SO I FLED INTO A VIRTUAL ONE,.. one without laws or rules and it helped for a while until I realized that what I was fleeing toward is already there and it is REAL!!! We have a lawless world, so I kind of got back onto the horse and began searching everywhere except the Bible for answers which logically led me to those making these laws and those who were supposed to enforce said laws… I was still not too keen on reading so google and youtube it was for me then. I bought some hard drives and started to download everything (interesting) explaining why this world is the way it is NOW.
I stumbled upon this one video quite early on in my quest that really got me wondering. “The Illuminati” by Chris Everard,.. and since nothing I found came close to this, I started to use it as the measure for everything else I was sifting through. YOUTUBE IS CRAZY WITH THIS KIND OF STUFF NOW AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO DISCERN WHAT IS OFF/ON, but it was nothing like it is now. Not even close!!! WHAT IS TRUTH???…
I began to see everything that is wrong with this world (it was more depressing than myself), but at least now,.. I began to see myself as a little bit less of a threat to others and I came across a DVD (compliments of my mother’s brother) at a BBQ while trying establish some sort of a relationship with my family again,.. who only after I brought up some of the discoveries I have made, told me about this DVD he received in his mailbox a while back… So I got it from him and checked it out… VERY RELUCTANTLY I MIGHT ADD, because this guy on the DVD was a professor of zoology and a evolutionist… I FOUND MANY THINGS SURROUNDING THIS “THEORY” on youtube, that just did not add up so these “evolutionist people” with their THEORY just irritated the living daylights out of me… AND THIS GUY WAS QUOTING THE BIBLE so I almost didn’t even watch ten minutes of it…
… but I endured and to my amazement,.. there was some of the footage found in my “standard for truth” video mentioned above,.. in his lectures, so I was a little less irritated and little more interested… but now the Bible and God became the main focus of my scepticism, BUT IT SOUNDED LIKE TRUTH… So, back to google I went…Found things that bothered me very much about this man, but some of the things in these lectures just asstounded me… So I called the number on the disc, payed a couple grand into his account and asked this man on the other end of the to give me everything (DVD’s) he has… I SLEPT VERY LITTLE for a few weeks after receiving his package in the mail and watched it back to back and googled and watched and then googled some more…
TODAY I THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING THAT WENT WRONG IN MY LIFE BECAUSE HE BROUGHT ME THROUGH IT (UNSCAVED AND BACK TO MY FAMILY AND PROVIDED FOR ME NEW FRIENDS WITH HOPE IN LIFE EVERLASTING) AND HIS WORD STATES THAT HE WILL NOT…

And whats wrong with same sex marriage? would a loving GOD condemn that? Would a loving god condem peace with another religion? But what if Hell does exist? You see, that fear keeps so many people prisoner. Its that fear that makes people try to believe. Not one person wants to end up being tortured at the end of their life. Every person comes across religion one day and there is not one person who does not know about hell. So, this fear is deep rooted. Try as I might, I cannot shake it off. Its always there, in the back of my mind. I’m suspicious because we are told about an all loving god, one who incidentally wants to be feared (it says so in the bible), yet wants to be loved. How can one love one they fear? It just makes no sense!
The good Christian should beware of mathematicians and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and confine man in the bonds of Hell.

Then consider Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 along with Luke chapter 4 verse 6. Satan was given dominion over this “world”… That is why we were told in 1 John chapter 2 verse 15 ” do not love the world or anything in the world…” It is a simple and wonderful acceptance of the truth that the Lord made us, we are imperfect, and He wants a DAILY relationship with us showing we have chosen His Son through faith and we know we are saved because of the sacrifice He paid. He loves you…so much…that He gave His only Son….that whosoever believe in Him…. We sin everyday and fall short of His Glory…we must be called to repentance daily, and he is our advocate and declares ” I paid the price for that in full already” everytime we humble ourselves. Fear not, but love the Lord in return by daily communion with Him. Blessings to you.

The Greek Hell that is commonly believed by modern Christians has little resemblance to what Jesus and the disciples taught.
The Greeks believed in an everlasting soul that can not be killed. The bible teaches that the a living soul is the combination of spirt from God which animates a physical body. And when the body dies the spirit returns to the Father who sent it. This soul doesn’t keep on living it dies at that moment.
No imaginary soul that lives without a body goes onto be in heaven, where it lives eternally or to hell where it lives eternally. You die and go to sleep with your fathers awaiting the resurrection with the rest of the people good and bad who are resting in peace.
We either awake to everlasting life because we are washed in the blood of Christ or we awaken to judgment followed by the second death. Being thrown into the lake of fire isn’t punishment where one is eternally in agony, it is where one is destroyed permanently.
I am still waiting for the Catholic Church to do the following:
1. Publicly Denounce ALL Pedophile Priests, Bishops and Cardinals…
2. Open the books and assist the proper Local Authorities in finding evidence, apprehending and prosecuting ANY person in the Catholic Church who is guilty of a Sex Crime including current and past perverts within the Catholic Church…
3. Come Clean to ALL of the Victims of these perverted and sick Priests who have harmed someone and Publicly Apologize…
4. Publicly apologize for the Tens of Millions of people who have been Murdered in their efforts to convince people that they needed to become Catholic, in specific Mexico, Central and South America during the 16th, 17th and 18th Centuries…

The Catholic church is nothing more than a fortune 500 company that does not pay taxes and you cannot invest in. You won’t find them listed on the Dow Jones but, you can see that their convictions change with the times. I remember when divorce or birth control would have you excommunicated from the church and now they are promoting child molestation and sexual deviancy in order to not lose their donation paychecks. Catholic churches are dying all over the world due to lack of attendance. The Vatican is well aware that you can either change with the times or be run over by them. This is nothing more than a new membership drive that will eventually invite the cancer to set the stage for it’s final decline. At one time, the Catholic church divided the world in half between the Spaniards and the Portuguese because they had that omnipotent power and now they are begging homosexuals and child molesters to join them.
Catholics are good, family oriented people but, I wonder if they even recognize their own church anymore? Spirituality is not the questions here, perseverance to the original message is the answer. If you doubt that statement, simply look at the pure conviction of Islam. Soon, all the church bells will be drowned out by the sounds of the prayer tower and the Muslims have not changed their message since the 7th century.
