Chicago Bears fans left in tears over emotional farewell message
Former Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker bid goodbye to the team and its fanbase in a recent Instagram post.
Brisker agreed to a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers last March. But the former Penn State standout only recently posted about it on his social media. He had a long, heartfelt post featuring several of his best moments with the Bears, accompanied by photos and videos.
“Very Very Overdue,” Brisker opened in his post. “The fans and city of Chicago deserve this! To the city of Chicago, it’s been nothing but Love since the day I was drafted! The love , energy, passion of the fans I felt it immediately.”
“Thank you for letting me live my DREAM, hearing my name called and being drafted!,” part of his caption read. “Also, welcoming my family and I for 4 wonderful years.”

Fans couldn’t hold back their emotions about Jaquan Brisker’s Bears departure
The second-round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft had two strong seasons with the Bears before he had a concussion in his third year. The injury limited him to only five games during the 2024 season.
Fans were saddened by the split between the young safety and Chicago. They supporters were lefgt in tears in the comments section of Brisker’s post.

Brisker looks to make an immediate impact with the Steelers and possibly improve their win total from last season. Pittsburgh finished with a 10-7 record in 2025 to win the AFC North title.
