Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White talks with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark

Stephanie White has seen the Indiana Fever bounce back strong after splitting their first 10 games. Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston significantly contribute to the huge turnaround. Their strong performances continue to excite fans about the rest of the season.

The veteran head coach has brought out the best in the duo, along with fellow All-Star Kelsey Mitchell. Clark averages a career-high 21.5 points, along with 4.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists despite a career-low 29.7 minutes per game. She deals with a lingering back issue, and the coaching staff monitors her minutes closely.

Meanwhile, Boston earned her fourth All-Star nod this season. The center anchors Indiana’s defense inside the paint while averaging 16.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks.

Indiana Fever: Stephanie White excited to work with Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston in different role

Clark and Boston will join Team USA’s 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup squad. The reigning WNBA Coach of the Month is part of the coaching staff and will serve as one of head coach Kara Lawson’s assistants. She expressed excitement for her new role and the opportunity to work with the Fever stars on the national team.

“It’s the ultimate honor of a lifetime to be able to work with Team USA,” White said. “We work with the senior national team and certainly to be able to have C and AB on the team as well. I’m really excited about the opportunity that we have and really excited for them to see me in a different role too. I think any experience that you can get internationally and certainly putting USA on your chest, I mean, it’s just an incredible opportunity.”

Berlin, Germany, will host the tournament from Sept.4 to 13. Team USA will compete in four preliminary round games. White, Clark and Boston aim to help ead the United States to its fifth consecutive gold medal.
