The Chicago Bears last entered season with many doubting if they can be among the top teams in the NFL. However, they turned them into believers as the campaign progressed as drew a lot of attention for their strong performances. Caleb Williams was named “Madden NFL 27’s” cover athlete and the team will play seven primetime games in 2026.

Chicago won the NFC North with an 11-6 record and reached the Divisional Round despite the odds stacked the team. Bears’ Madden NFL 27 intro video has been released

EA Sports released Chicago’s “Madden NFL 27” intro video, and a team’s account shared it. The video showed Williams leading his teammates out to the field and hyping the home crowd at Soldier Field. Fireworks lit the sky as fans cheered on the Bears, and the announcer introduced them as the defending NFC North champions. The clip also showed the Green Bay Packers as their opponents.

The game developers will launch the game worldwide on Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. ET. They have set the early access period, including a three-day access, for Monday for Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle buyers. MVP+ members started their seven-day access on Thursday. “Madden NFL 27” will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Chicago will open its regular season with an away game against the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 13 at Bank of America Stadium. The league has scheduled the home opener on Sept. 20 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bears face the NFL’s toughest schedule; however, they are embracing the challenge and have set their sights on surpassing their success in 2025.
