Jets Injury Report: Joseph Ossai, Tim Patrick Out for Week 1 vs. Titans
The final Jets injury report is out ahead of Sunday’s season opener against the Tennessee Titans, with New York ruling out two players and listing two others as doubtful. Edge rusher Joseph Ossai will not play due to a foot injury. Ossai did not participate in practice Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Wide receiver Tim Patrick has also been ruled out with a groin injury after missing all three days of practice.
Kene Nwangwu is doubtful with a groin injury after not practicing Friday, while cornerback D’Angelo Ponds is doubtful with a calf injury. Ponds was limited Wednesday and Thursday before being a full participant Friday. There is much better news when it comes to Breece Hall. The Jets running back was a full participant throughout the week despite being listed with a groin injury and carries no game designation.
Running back Isaiah Davis is also good to go after practicing all week with a knee injury. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who has been dealing with a groin injury, was a full participant throughout the week and also has no game designation.
The biggest positive for the Jets is that Hall, Davis and Sadiq are all ready to go. The absences of Ossai and Patrick will test the Jets depth, while the likely absence of Ponds could leave New York thinner at cornerback when they take the field in Nashville.
Jets Injury Report Week 1
- Joseph Ossai, EDGE (Foot): Out
- Tim Patrick, WR (Groin): Out

- D’Angelo Ponds, CB (Calf): Doubtful

Tennessee Titans Injury Report
The Titans have a much shorter injury list heading into Week 1. Linebacker Cedric Gray has been ruled out with a concussion after missing practice throughout the week. Defensive lineman Keldric Faulk was listed with a shoulder injury but practiced in full Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and has no game designation.
