Bears QB Tyson Bagent assigns blame after loss to Packers
The Chicago Bears saw their two-game winning streak snapped on Sunday by their rivals, the Green Bay Packers. It was a disappointing performance from the visitors at Lambeau Field as the hosts overwhelmed them on both ends. Tyson Bagent started his second straight and assigned the blame after the game.
He completed 12-of-21 passes for 87 yards and two interceptions. The former Shepherd Rams star was benched in the fourth quarter for Case Keenum to give the offense a different look. The 38-year-old recorded 11-of-19 receptions for 108 yards and one interception. While he put up better numbers, it didn’t matter as Chicago lost the rivalry showdown 31-7.
Caleb Williams missed his third consecutive game due to the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 2. He could reportedly return to practice next week but his timeline remains up in the air.

Tyson Bagent takes responsibility for Bears’ loss to Packers
Bagent addressed reporters after the game inside the locker room. He admitted that there are a lot of things to improve on but took responsibility for the defeat.
“Obviously, super disappointed, but really can’t look any further than the mirror,” Bagent said. “Got to get better, got to take it face on, see where I need to get better, see where we need to get better as a team. But yeah, definitely wanted to get this one and starting with me, just didn’t really go our way.”

Next up for the Bears is another road matchup in Week 6. They will visit the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium looking to get back on the right track and improve to 4-2. Bagent could remain the starter, but there’s a chance the coaching staff names Keenum the QB1. It will depend on which quarterback they believe gives them the best opportunity to win.
