Meanwhile, officials ejected Carrington early in the first quarter of the Chicago Sky-Indiana Fever game on Saturday. She contacted Cunningham’s head during a fast break and has faced heavy criticism for it. The veteran guard wrote some controversial posts on her X account, adding more fuel to the fire.

Portnoy shared a screenshot of Carrington’s post where she explained her side about her “white privilege” message. He added a two-word response to it. The Sky star has not responded but Portnoy’s post has more than 1,300 replies so far.

Carrington also made it clear that she is looking forward to Aug. 23. Chicago will face Indiana once again and many fans have already marked the game in their calendars.
She exited Saturday’s matchup with eight points but bounced back strong on Monday. Carrington finished with a game-high 26 points and six rebounds. However, her impressive performance did not lead her team to victory. The Sky dropped their second consecutive game 97-88 and now sit at 12-21 for the season. She and her teammates will look to get back on track on Wednesday when they visit the Golden State Valkyries.
Cunningham and the Fever, on the other hand, will face the New York Liberty on Tuesday. It’s the first of a two-game homestand and a chance for them to win their second straight game.
