According to TicketX’s September 21 snapshot, the get-in price remained $68.01 on every recorded day from September 8 through September 21. Available resale listings moved considerably during that same stretch.
The latest count is 4,046, down from 5,703 on September 13. That is a decrease of 1,657 listings, or about 29%, over eight days. However, inventory has not fallen in a straight line. Listings dropped to 3,459 on September 19 before rebounding to 4,046 in the latest update.
For Jets fans considering the trip, the takeaway is straightforward: the entry price has stayed put even as the selection has changed. Waiting has not produced a cheaper get-in ticket during this tracking period, although the seats available at any particular price can change.
Where Detroit Falls in the Week 3 Ticket Market
TicketX ranks Jets-Lions seventh among the 15 Week 3 games tracked by get-in price, putting this matchup near the middle of the list. The average listed price is $459, well above the $68.01 starting point.
That average covers the mix of tickets being offered. It is not the price every fan needs to pay, and it is not an average of completed sales. If the goal is getting into Ford Field without blowing the road-trip budget, compare the lower-priced sections and the final checkout total.
