Packers LB Zaire Franklin does not hold back on Bears’ Luther Burden III
The Chicago Bears lost the rivalry showdown against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. They were overwhelmed by the home team on both ends of the field, and Zaire Franklin didn’t hold back with his postgame statement. He addressed Luther Burden III’s comments ahead of the matchup.
Chicago entered Week 5 on a two-game winning streak despite missing Caleb Williams. It defeated the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets at home, giving the team a lot of momentum on its side. However, the Bears couldn’t stop the Packers’ offense while struggling to put points on the board.
Tyson Bagent started his second straight game and finished with 12-of-21 completions for 87 yards and two interceptions. He was benched in the fourth quarter for Case Keenum. The 38-year-old quarterback completed 11-of-19 passes for 108 yards and one interception in the 31-7 loss.

Packers LB Zaire Franklin responds to Bears WR Luther Burden III’s comments
Franklin took exception to Burden saying that he and the Bears’ goal was to make the Packers quit. The veteran linebacker wants his team to focus on how to continue improving but stressed that the Bears wideout quit on Sunday.
“I feel like since I’ve been here, it’s just been a bunch of them saying a whole bunch of stuff about us,” Franklin said. “Them making a whole bunch of comments about us, doing a whole bunch of stuff about us, and all the things we’ve been doing is focused on being the best versions of ourselves. That’s the message that coach (Matt) LaFluer has been preaching. Just being the best versions of ourselves is not about them. It’s about us.
“We see all the little weird stuff they be doing in the meet and all the different stuff they be saying. We got guys that never really made a real play in this league. Talking about making somebody quit. That’s weird. We don’t do that. He quit today by the way, he didn’t want to play anymore. But we focus on ourselves, man. We ain’t really worried about that. We ain’t play that in a team meeting or nothing. Focus on ourselves being the best version of ourselves and we put out a good performance today because of that.”
