Ahnaleigh Wilson, who was involved in the controversial issue centered around Cunningham, accused the WNBA of not reaching out to her to apologize. She and other teenage girls entered the arena with an XX-XY shirt on, showing support for the Indiana guard’s controversial comments.
Celeste Keaton, co-owner of the Seattle Storm, allegedly yelled at them with expletives. Wilson issued a statement during an interview with FOX and accused the WNBA of not yet contacting her for an apology.

The Storm have since issued an apology, while Cunningham shared her thoughts about it on X.
“I truly believe there is a safe space and love for EVERYBODY,” Cunningham wrote. “Biological girls, biological boys, trans women, and trans men. Everyone is welcome at my table! You can disagree and still be kind. Bravo to those girls for standing up for what they believe. You’ll be hearing from me soon

Seattle began their four-game road trip on Friday with a 98-89 loss to the Atlanta Dream. The Fever, on the other hand, also returned to action on the same day, winning 112-98 against the Portland Fire. Cunningham and Co. won their fifth consecutive game.
