Bears QB’s Case Keenum sends message to Tyson Bagent after loss to Packers
The Chicago Bears experienced a tough Sunday afternoon. They lost 31-7 to their rivals, the Green Bay Packers, at Lambeau Field and saw their two-game winning streak snapped. Case Keenum sent a motivational message to the team’s Week 5 starter, Tyson Bagent, after the matchup.
Bagent started his second consecutive game as Caleb Williams continues to recover from a hamstring injury. He finished with 12-of-21 completions for 87 yards and two interceptions. Head coach Ben Johnson benched him in the fourth quarter for Keenum, who completed 11-of 19 passes for 108 yards and one interception.
Williams’ reportedly could practice next week but fans don’ want the Bears to rush his return. Chicago will likely name Bagent the QB1 again in Week 6. However, it will depend on who the coaching staff thinks gives the team the best chance to win.

Chicago Bears: Case Keenum delivers strong message for Tyson Bagent
Keenum highlighted that players that have long NFL careers also get knocked down. He wants Bagent to bounce back strong and learn from Sunday’s loss.
“You don’t last very long in this league if you don’t know how to get back up when you’ve had your a** kicked,” Keenum said. “And that’s just the way it is. There’s really good players, really good coaches, really good teams, and if you last long enough, it’s just a matter of time, at some point, you’re going to get your a** kicked. So I expect him to respond like he knows how to and he can. This is just adversity to learn from, an opportunity to grow, learn from your mistakes, move on, and not make them again.”
Case Keenum on Advice to Tyson Bagent after Today’s Loss:
“You don’t last very long in this league if you don’t know how to get back up when you’ve had your ass kicked, and that’s just the way it is. There’s really good players, really good coaches, really good teams, and if you last long enough, it’s just a matter of time, at some point, you’re going to get your ass kicked. So I expect him to respond like he knows how to and he can. This is just adversity to learn from, an opportunity to grow, learn from your mistakes, move on, and not make them again.”
